Autumn Food Forum - Register by December 8
About this event
Ken Horst and Keith Gnagey will be sharing their interest and talents in the art of smoking cheese and making homemade crackers.
Ken will explain his process of smoking cheese, the types of cheese he uses, and the flavorings he uses. He will have small samples of the cheese for tasting.
Keith will be making sourdough crackers using sourdough starter or discard. He will provide a variety of flavors to sample and hopes the crackers will be a good companion for Ken's smoked cheese. He will also provide us with his basic cracker recipe.
To round out the cheese and crackers, we will be serving fresh seasonal fruit, mixed nuts and apple beverages.
We look forward to snacks and conversation. Come and join in the fun.
Registration is required. At this time we are limiting attendance to members only, however, if there are any slots still available on December 8th, we will open the event to guests. Members of the Wellness Committee who are helping with the event should not register.
