Die Wise Book Group
Join us to read through Die Wise together. Stephen Jenkinson, the author, spent decades as a palliative care counselor in what he calls “the death trade.” He has seen up close the difficulties patients, their families and their medical caregivers have with dying, even just talking about it. He does not provide easy answers nor many answers at all, though he questions almost everything.
This is a great book to dig into with a group!
We will start on Monday afternoon, September 14, at 1 pm, and meet monthly (except December) for 1-1.5 hours to wrestle with the ideas and questions presented to us by this Angel of Death, as Jenkinson is frequently called. Further dates to be decided by the group.
