Misti Furr and Mary Kate Claytor will take us on a virtual overview of the Frontier Culture Museum. Particular attention will be paid to the programming developed for the museum’s American Indian site and West African exhibit.

Mary Kate Claytor is the Associate Director of Interpretation at the Frontier Culture Museum. She has worked within the field of interpretation and public history since 2009. Throughout her career, Mary Kate's primary interpretive focus has been on Eastern Woodland Indigenous nations and the ways in which they used and continue to use natural resources in their traditional material cultures. This presentation is followed with a group tour of Frontier Culture Museum on Thursday, April 29 (Friday, April 30 Rain Date)
