About this event
Enjoy the colorful autumn beauty in Shenandoah National Park on Skyline Drive! Depending on the weather, we will eat outside on the terrace or inside in the dining room, ordering from the menu either way. Then we will stop at the Visitor’s Center to enjoy views and the lobby there (most exhibits are closed due to COVID). Afterwards, those interested will participate in an optional hike on the Big Meadows Trail.
- 10:15 AM: carpool from Park View Mennonite Church (PVMC) parking lot (SE corner), or drive on your own (please let Lowell know your travel plans in advance)
- 11:45 AM: gather in the Great Room at Big Meadows Lodge, before noon luncheon
- 4:00 PM: return to PVMC

NOTE: Be sure someone in each car has a National Parks Pass, or there is a substantial entrance fee to Skyline Drive.
